New tooth..

Did I ever mention Slader got another top tooth? It was 2 wednesdays ago. 3 tops and 3 bottoms. All going to the same side. Ha Ha. Silly!

the garden is in and we even got more veggies today for it and planted those too! Slade was loving the sunshine and playing in the backyard yesterday, such a big boy! He was on the tramp, then the swing, then up in the fort, then down the slide and in the sandbox. Just loving it! He likes when K is home too but sometimes she is just too bouncy or too pushy.. or too greedy. So its nice to just have him out there for once!

Brandon got the kennel finished. The dogs hate it. Oh well.

Dad is finally finished with seeding! Yay! It actually went pretty fast and smooth compared to the major problems he could have had! The kids were tired of their car seats and riding all day long in the pickup. Slade took a 5 hour nap on the day that we were home in between trips. 5 hours! Sleepy boy!

I have a ton of new pictures but need to upload them still. Hopefully i'll get the motivation to do so very soon! Until then, stay dry!

Rain, rain, go away..

Her ladybug face paint is wearing off but you can kind of see it!

`````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````It has been raining here.. for.. gosh, I don't even know how long! It feels like forever. Rain, snow, rain, snow, rain, snow.. Repeat. The kids are getting antsy and restless, needing to get out and get some sunshine! I need them to get out too!!  Some of our indoor activities have become monotonous.. we eat, play toys, clean house, eat, play toys, clean house.. over and over!  One thing we have been working on is behavior AND keeping the house nice! Kendlee has been a little bit pushy with Slade lately. Partly due to his curiousity and wanting to do whatever shes doing. Partly because she is just 3, and shes a little turkey!
We did the Walk for MS on Saturday! I raised $685 for MS! Once again I got the top fundraiser! Though Lorisa, her husband and her sister all raised more than me. They don't count themselves for the prizes. So I won a sweatshirt AND a $50 giftcard to Johnny Carinos in Bismarck! That makes my total in gift cards up to $175 just from this fundraiser! Wow! Plus the sweatshirt and the tee shirt and all the other little things I won!
During the walk my friend Christy helped me push the stroller. I was all fine and dandy pushing it until we heard a hissing sound.. then about 5 minutes later my tire was FLAT. Flat, flat, flat! Not sure what happened but we had to push it back the rest of the way (we were halfway).. and it was HARD to push!  Then we got back and Slade thought it would be cool to eat my entire slice of pizza. Little piggy! K got a flower balloon from the clown and her face painted too. She got a lady bug painted on her face because she likes Ladybugs. Thats what she says anyway! Ha! Slade wanted a turtle balloon but the clown was so busy and we just couldn't stand in line for 30 minutes. Mommy might try to make my own balloon animals once I get some balloons to do it with.
Neither of the kids slept on the way home but christy and I were exhausted. (the kids slept during the walk though). When we got home Slade took a nap and Daddy stayed home with him. Kendlee and I went to some garage sales but found nothing except some canning jars. So we went to the park instead.
Mother's Day was a bust. Sorry for not calling any of you. The kids were EXTREMELY crabby. To the point of where I thought maybe if we all just hid under a rock for a day or two we might return to normal. Brandon's sleeping patterns are all out of whack and so he was a little less than pleasant as well. Pretty much I spent the day organizing the closets and toys and hollaring at the kids for fighting. But I have my kids so I guess Mother's Day wasn't THAT bad. It just was pretty stressful. --I don't have any pictures of the kids and I on Mother's Day.
The coming weeks are still busy for me. Tonight is the preschool parent-board meeting. I won't make it, wish that I could though. Tomorrow is my last gymnastics class. Thursday is our MOPS picnic, though I don't think I'll be taking my 2 kids this year (or myself since B works) because K is afraid of the park that its at and Slade is just.. well.. he's Slade! He's too clingy and I think he would get bored! Perhaps if it is nice I'll take them but I have a feeling that we won't be going. Tuesday the 18th we have our Gymnastics Board meeting, to wrap up the year and elect new members for next year. Then both Dad and my bestie Amanda A have their birthdays on May 21st. Amanda's party is on May 22nd, and I REALLY hope I can attend. She is such a wonderful person and I would hate to miss out on her special day! You only turn 30 once! ;) Unless of course you decide to repeat that birthday for many years to follow.. which seems to be quite common around here! Ha!  Memorial weekend is Logan's birthday and I'll be making a Mickey Mouse cake for that! Busy days I tell you! And all the while I'm supposed to be at Dad's farming! I see a few back and forth trips in my future. If any of you want to take the kids for a day or two call me!
Lastly, I STILL have not gotten a new lens for my camera. Best buy was supposed to mail me my reciept but alas I have not seen it yet. I think I'll call them. I was so positive that I bought the insurance on it and they say that I didn't. I don't know why I would spend $1000 on a camera and not buy the insurance?
A few pictures for you all to enjoy. Since I'm pretty sure I just bored you to death! (And my Mom keeps hounding me because I haven't put new pics up since April. Blah Blah Blah.. still waiting on those copies of my picture CD's mom! Thats been.. almost 2 years now! ;) Just teasing.. sort of! ;) )
slade's first haircut
Oh my. I see Slade was pressing buttons while I was letting the pictures load! HAHAH!
Two sausages are definately better than one!
She is really sleeping.. inside this big tote!
this is actually the naughty step but She was "relaxing" and Slade was trying to sit on her and the step!
Little girls... and little boys..
Little girls and little boys, make a lot of loud noise!!!
Slade has been extremely vocal lately! Telling us his "stories" and such. One instance was this morning. I was sitting on my bed and Slade was wandering around. He decided he was going downstairs but wanted to tell me something first! He looked at me, from in front of the stairs and jabbered something "blabhalienbalahbial" then he went down a couple stairs and jabbered again "bhlahlfiahigahaballl..." then i couldn't see him. Then he came up a stair and jabbered, AGAIN! "blahlahalhba" and went back down where I couldn't see them.. then he repeated that a few more times. After he was done telling me his story he finally went downstairs!   --Oh and he has TWO top teeth now! And still 3 bottom teeth! how funny!
And whats with this spitting food out of his mouth to make room for a different kind of food? Just chew it and swallow buddy, chew and swallow! By the way, his favorite foods are Bread.. and Lemons. Yup. Lemons. Raw, Sour, Lemons! Goof!!
Kendlee has been vocal as well! Today I heard her tell Slade something about the principal in his office. And then I heard "Don't wake me up! Butt out!"  Her type of vocal is not something I particularily enjoy.
GYMNASTICS
Our season is finally ended. My last day of coaching for this season is the 13th. I almost can't wait to just have a break from it all!!
We had our Harley Drawing! A young gal won! She gave the bike to her Mom!! very sweet!
This coming weekend I have the walk for MS! Hopefully the weather is nice! The kids will be riding in the stroller and I have a weatherguard just incase its windy or sprinkling.
Busy Days..
We are always so busy!  The running and the appointments, playdates, gymnastics. Always SO busy!
We are into spring! Finally! That means alot of outdoor activities and even MORE running than usual. Hopefully help Dad and Cali in the field or the yard at the farm.
May 1st and 2nd is a sort of Kite Flying festival in Beulah. I will be volunteering my time on Sunday for MOPS for a fundraiser.
May 1st is the gymnastics Harley Drawing Pre-Party. May 2nd, in the evening, is the actual Harley drawing.
May 8th is the MS walk, team Legs for Lorisa! The entire weekend is filled with fun but I fear the kids and I will only make it to the walk.
May 13th the MOPS picnic, I think thats what Lorisa said.
The second week of may is the last week for gymnastics, BUT that doesn't mean its the last week for us board members and coaches! Throughout the summer we will be planning and coordinating events as well as planning the next year.
Summertime brings lake trips and visits to Papa's house for some little girl... July 17th is the SCHWANS fundraiser for gymnastics, be on the lookout for my email about that in June!
We're. Just. Busy. Everyday something new is on the calendar!
In other news, ha ha... Kendlee has decided she wants to start using a scissors. Oh My! I did have a kid scissors here that she didn't know about. I let her start using it and shes learning how to hold it and cut with it. A good skill for her. A scary skill for mom. But I think we will do just fine by setting cutting boundaries.
Me with my Legs For Lorisa telethon giftcard! Big Winner!
Boys..
Little Boys...  Or Boy in this case. They never cease to amaze me.  You hear horror stories about them peeing in the toybox (Brandon!) or into a bucket on the bed (or not so INTO!!!) but I still wasn't aware of what was to come. Boys LIKE trouble. And water. Dog water. Tub water. Toilet water. Yes, toilet water. The new splash zone? I prefer not!!
Little boys grunt. Little boys yell. Little boys make alot of dents in your furniture.
But, little boys are fun. And I love my little boy!!
A little this, a little that..
The last week has been mass craziness! They poured the concrete for the kennel and the shed slab. Kendlee had a day trip with Daddy to Minot. Slade is trying to get his top teeth. I took part in a telethon for my friend Lorisa. So many things! So little time to blog about it!!!
She said "I EATED HIM!"
This cookie is so cute!!!
Handsome naked Man...
Leaving her mark...
Slade did not like leaving his mark!
The dog kennel pad..
I watched Reegan and Devyn for the day one day, it was so much fun. These 2 trouble makers kept kissing! He instigated it, she liked it!
I found this little plastic basket at the thrift store for 25 cents. I took off the old ripped stickers and replaced them with Care Bear stickers. Kendlee LOVES it!
Slade - 13 months
Reading stories...
She fell asleep during my telethon!
Really the nose is priceless!
the goodies I won at the telethon! I raised $565! I won a giftcard for Alien Space (haha!) for $15, and another giftcard for whereverfor $100! Along with the other great prizes! Picture of me at the telethon coming soon!
I think he is eating something, lol.
I just love this picture. Her eyes are turning brown!!
So THATS what he was eating! Stinker!
These two thought it was funny to walk around together.
Still can't find the replacement booklet for my lens. So I have been using my zoom lens. While it takes fantastic pictures, I have to stand REALLY FAR BACK! Thats really hard in the house!
No Pictures....
No pictures today.. I took some with my zoom lens, BUT I can't take any normal shots because my normal lens fell off the counter on Thursday and broke! I do have warranty, which I still have to find the booklet for. So it will be getting fixed or replaced. But until then I have to use my zoom lens and I just haven't taken nearly as many pictures since then.
Our backyard is tore up. Brandon, Dad, Chad and Cali poured the concrete on Thursday for the kennel and the shed pad! There are handprints and footprints on each slab. The sod has been stripped for the garden, now it just needs tilled.
Slade is doing great! Walking normal and babbling even more than before.
Kendlee might be starting pre-school in the fall. I will be going to registration this next week to see if she makes it in!
