Christmas Ideas

I've had a few requests on what to get the kids for Christmas. Here are a few ideas:

Kendlee:

Fancy Nancy stuff: Kendlee is still into carebears but she really adores Fancy Nancy.

Books for her Tag Pen. Email or ask me before you buy one, we do have several.

Kids RollerSkates.

Arts and Craft things.

Pillow Pet.

And pretty much anything you see on TV. Lol. Shes easy to please.

Slade:

Slade is even easier to please because he pretty much plays with anything.

Trucks.

Theres a super cute Tonka Truck racetrack out right now. I don't know the name of it but I think its by Chuck the Tonka Truck.

Tractors. He needs a pull behind Anhydrous Tank for his big tractors.

Books about trucks and tractors.

Pillow pet.

An idea for both kids is money for their savings account or piggy bank. As you know, they eventually need some new toys/activities at different times of the year. Kendlee has been learning about using her own money (though rarely does it actually happen!) to buy things that she wants. Its pretty cute when she offers to use her own money.

October

It's October already! I can't believe it! Fall is really here and in full swing.

Kendlee STILL Loves preschool. She had to bring snacks and drinks last week for class and will have to again next week. She knows all the kids by name (first and last, funny!) and has made alot of new friends. She sees a few of them at MOPS and at Story time at the library each week, and even  one or two at gymnastics. She is loving Show and Tell. The first time she took a carebear that Devyn gave her. The second time she took her book "Pigs to the Rescue!" And they even got to read it in class! Last week she took her picture of her and Slade from his newborn pictures, in the frame that she painted for our "art gallery".

Slade is going through a grumpy patch right now. His teeth must be bothering him again. And his ear tube is about to fall out. Hopefully it grows back in or we will have to have a new tube put in. He was weighed at his last appointment. He is 21.5 lbs (4%) and 30.5 inches (8%). He's just a peanut!! Kendlee was too but she never got below the 7% for weight. As for now we will just watch his weight and hope that he makes it to the 5% by age 2.

Brandon has started his fall hunting today. Goose hunting. Him and Jerzie were on the road at 3:30 am this morning. I can't really imagine any kind of extracurricular activity that would involve me WANTING to get out of bed that early. No thanks. But whatever floats his boat is fine with me.

As for me, well our gymnastics season has started. I'm not coaching this year but I have my hands full with the raffle. We are raffling off a 2011 Chevy Malibu LS this year! I have been busy getting packets put together and tickets distributed. I have alot of work left to do but it will all come together.

I better get going, Kendlee says Russ just ate her bouncy ball. Oh my.
