The joys of pregnancy!

You always hear how WONDERFUL pregnancy is.. I'll tell you how wonderful it is! The fatigue, absentminded-ness, nausea and of course the new yoga positon: downward-toilet hugger. Lovely.

As we have embarked on our newest pregnancy journey we have come across a few joys! We saw our little bean on Friday the 22nd of August. The baby was bouncing around and waving, fully formed and beautiful. They did not print us any pictures though, which was a dissappointment!

We have decided that this baby will be a surprise. With Kendlee we found out at 12 weeks that she was a girl. This time we plan to have much more fun by making guesses and teasing people with the surprise of the name.

Kendlee is excited about the baby. From what she knows anyway. She saw the baby on the screen at the ultrasound, immediately pointing out "BABY!" She kisses my belly often and watching shows about babies on tv whenever one catches her attention.

Hooray!!

I am FINALLY done with school! I just officially sent off my final exam!!!

Other news- Kendlee is starting to sing/say her ABC's. She says "A is apple!" and A, B, C.. among other letters of the alphabet, usually not in order. She also likes to count.. 9, 8... silly girl!!

Kendlee went to the fair last week with Grandma Dell and Mommy! She had a good time but Mommy and Grandma agreed that the fair isn't for children Kendlee's age. The petting zoo was a bust! I guess we'll stick to the beulah petting zoo when the local fair comes to town!

The pregnancy is going well! I have been tired and hungry but doing well otherwise. The hot sun does take a toll on my body but that is something that will too pass.

kendlee pictures to come later!

Hmmmm...

Ahhh, the joys of summer. The sun, the fireworks on the 4th of july, a freshly taken pregnancy test... WHAT? You got it. We're pregnant with #2. Sometime in the last few weeks I have noticed that I have been hungrier than usual..and I'm usually hungry! Then the day came and went without my not so friendly visitor.. three sticks later I finally believe it, I'm pregnant!

So it turns out we're due sometime in March. Sometime between March 11 and March 14th. Though I won't see a doctor until late August due to a change in policy..don't they know I'd like to make sure everything is alright?! Jeesh!

Brandon has already commented on my moodiness... I only have the time to remind him he only has 8 months left! LOL! He then proceeds to talk about all this overtime he'll be getting at work, hehe.. poor guy!!

Anyhow, I feel great. I'm starving constantly and tired, but I feel great! At least I'm not losing my guts like when I was pregnant with Kendlee! Which makes me wonder.....is it a boy?

Fun in the sun!!

Kendlee has been enjoying summer outdoors!! We have been to the pool, the lake, the park as well as our neighbor's backyard! They were nice enough to invite us to use their yard, at any time. This has become a great relief for us seeing as Kendlee LOVES to swing, slide and dig in the sand.

The 4th of July is fast approaching. We have no plans other than to stay home. Hoping to see some great fireworks in our area!!!

Swim swim swim!

Today Kendlee and I walked down to the local pool! We had a great time playing with our friends! Kendlee once again got to see her little boyfriend Preston. She really loves him! She loved the water and the other kids.

All about Kendlee!

Let me tell you a little about Kendlee.

Kendlee was born January 14, 2007. She was born in North Dakota at 9:49 am. She was 6 lbs 5 oz 18 1/2" long. She was born with dark hair and blue eyes.

Kendlee has been the center of our life since before she was born. We have done many things to make her life wonderful. She has a great family and support system.

Kendlee's current accomplishments include being potty trained, learning new words everyday and helping mommy with the housework. She is a wonderful helper!!

She loves her puppies. Everyday she kisses them and hugs them. She also helps out by feeding them dog food and even sometimes people food! She always makes sure that Jerzie has a toy nearby for her to play with. Sometimes we wonder if Kendlee thinks she is a puppy as well.. afterall she does bark at cows!!

Hey there!

Hey there! I guess I should introduce myself! I'm Ashley (22) married to Brandon (24) with one daughter, Kendlee (born Jan 14 2007). We live in North Dakota where my husband currently works at the Dakota Gassification Company.
I am currently a stay at home mom, as well as a Medical Transcription student. We have two dogs, Jazzy (15) and Jerzie (3) who are like children to us! For fun we like to visit family, go to the lake or camping, fish and just spend time with friends!! Hope to see you back here soon!!
