Slade's birthday

Slade had a great 2nd birthday! He got trucks and combines and grain bins and even a big ride on tractor!! Every boy's dream, right? Well, for sure it's Slade's! 

Hes growing like a weed. I tried to measure him, by my calculations he would be around 31.5 inches tall but i don't think our growth chart is exactly accurate since he and Kendlee play with it alot.

He's getting more teeth. Finally the canines are coming in. One has barely broken through the skin and the other is close but not there yet. He's in quite a bit of pain and in return he IS a pain! He gets so mad if he doesn't get his way or Kendlee takes his toy. This boy has a wild temper!!

Kendlee is growing like crazy as well! Shes taller than alot of her girl-friends at school and even some of the boys! I don't know where she is getting that height from! She is super sassy and her moods are so unpredictable! Can we say GIRL?!

We've been working on a chore chart with her since January. The goal is 25 stars and she always gets that but she could get 42 stars and we haven't seen that happen yet. Her chores/goals are to: Let the dogs outside, feed the dogs, pick up toys, be nice to slade, eat all her food and the new goal is NO ARGUING. She has only gotten one star on that particular goal.

Brandon has been working pretty much nonstop these days. Sure the paychecks are nice but it's nice to give him a break too! He is going to Virginia with Noah this coming weekend so that will be a nice break.

As for me, I'm ready to get some sunshine. I'd like to go walking and get ready for gardening, but since we got so much snow I don't think I'll be doing any of the above for a while. I went to a wine tasting with friends last night, which was so much fun! I think I'll go to it again next year!!
