Happy New year!

Another decade has come and gone. Amazing. In the last decade I managed to go to high school. Graduate high school. Finish continuing education. Marry the love of my life. Have TWO wonderful and amazing children. Raise pets, buy two houses. Lose loved ones, pets and friends. Made new relationships and best friends. Learned more about myself than I ever thought I could. And so much more.

Yet a lot is left to be desired! I am excited to get to see my children grow up. Though it is going faster than I would like. I am excited to spend the rest of my life with Brandon. Excited to finish decorating our new home. Excited for a summer with this big backyard and play house for the kids. So much yet to come. So much yet to be done.

In the past few weeks not much has changed. The kids are ever changing but sometimes it is hard to see being this close to them.

Slade now says "Mama, Pup Pup, Hi, Yeah, Mamaw, Baba.." I'm not sure if thats it but he has a good start. He took one unassisted step yesterday. Amazing. 9 1/2 months. :) Its only one step (or maybe one and a half) but always a fun thing to see! He crawls everywhere, stands using whatever is available and puts just about anything he can into his mouth. Nothing is too good for him to eat. Or not good enough for that matter!

Kendlee is enjoying all her new games and dress up stuff from Christmas. Princess Kendlee. Today she got into my makeup (not the first time, won't be the last) and came out of my bathroom with a forhead and eye area completely pink. Hands, dress and counter were covered too. No use crying over spilled eyeshadow, right?  She is loving the snow, no matter how cold it is. Yesterday we went for a sled ride at Papa Gary's. What fun! And I am not one to enjoy snow! Kendlee kept saying "again!" and so we went around again! Our next purchase will be a sled for our house! Or perhaps thats is a birthday suggestion for one of you all.

I painted our bedroom this past week. It will be completely finished as soon as I can get B to hang up the partylite lanterns. Pictures will be put up after he hangs those. I am in search of a bedspread to match. The colors in our room are beige and black.

Next stop on our journey is...

KENDLEE'S BIRTHDAY!!

Everyone get their Care Bear pictures colored and either in the mail or ready to bring to the party! The party is Jan 15th, 6pm at Grand International Inn! See you there!

Ashley - How fun that Slade is talking!

I am a sucker for anything that has anything to do with remodeling so I did a little searching (with the bits and pieces of information you've leaked) and found a few bedding options that might work (although I am sure you have already seen most of these :))
