Slades' NEW room

Slades NEW room --his mattress and bedding are on their way!

Man Cave --entire bottom half is now a dark grey and the two walls that are on the south are also dark grey. Or as Brandon would say "RAIDERS colors" --we have alot of work yet to do, painting the ledge and windows white

Man cave looking up from downstairs hall. Yes Slade has his mower inside. LOL

I can take more pictures as we get more stuff in. The bathroom was also painted but theres not much to see. Just white paint!! Its more of a linen white instead of a bright white. Slade's room is brown on bottom, KK got pink and Daddy got grey! Everyone was happy! :)

The open spaces of the Man Cave have become a great place for the kids to release energy. The only furniture down there is Brandon's chairs and the tv! Time to order our new furniture I suppose!

House Woes, Camping and more

Its been a couple months since I've posted. Much has happened since my last post but there is no way I could possibly describe it all! The major things are:

A pipe broke in our home and flooded the lowest basement and got the man cave pretty wet.

My dad bought a camper and we have already enjoyed using it.

Slade started to really get into talking and I prefer to call him "Echo" instead of Slade, most days anyhow.  My current favorite is "To Recue!" Which is "to the rescue". And "To fittity, and bemond!" which is "to infinity and beyond!"  Too cute!

Kendlee finished out her school year and loved every minute of it. She had a program and we got to watch her sing! She also finished her gymnastics season and her Team Kids (bible classes). She is in Vacation Bible School this week and has been having fun finding coins for the kids in Africa that get malaria.

Brandon bought a boat. he has already been fishing 3 times but we haven't been able to go with him yet. Too many other people to take first, lol!

Our house is finally being put back together. All the work was actually finished last week but we are taking our time putting things back. I have boxed up SEVERAL boxes of toys/clothes/ect that we are going to put in a garage sale sometime this summer.

We are also working in the garden. We have 20 (21 if another plant makes it) tomato plants. I wish we had put more but we ran out of room. We also have 16 pepper plants, radishes, beets, red onion, yellow onion, peas (which most likely wont survive), raspberry bushes (which aren't doing a darn thing!), lettuce and I am so sure there is more.. Can't remember it all! The kids like seeing what has grown already and its too cute teaching them things about gardening!

I'm off to get KK ready for Bible school! Take care!
